DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Centerpiece
The Inspiration
I’m so excited to share this Christmas centerpiece, which I made using door swags from the Dollar Tree. I just learned that it is the correct way to call them, not Christmas wreaths, my bad. I kept referring to them as Christmas door wreaths in my videos.
Anyway, back to my shopping spree at the Dollar Tree. Like most shopping sprees, I went in for something specific and got sidetracked by a design opportunity for a tablescape. I first admired the $5.00 Dollar Tree Christmas wreaths and was suddenly inspired by the Christmas door swags below them. I knew I could do something pretty cool with them. It wasn’t until I saw the black $5.00 black lanterns that my creative mind started designing the possibilities.
Dollar Tree Christmas Greenery Stems
Dollar Tree surprisingly has a great selection of artificial Christmas greenery stems. My favorites are the snowy greenery and gold Christmas bulbs. It’s hard to think about Christmas when we haven’t even had Halloween, but if you don’t hit up the stores a few months before Christmas, you miss out on all the decorations.
As usual, I leave a store with my cart full of inspiration. Whether I use it all or not is part of the fun with the creative process. I bet you can’t wait to see how the Dollar Tree Christmas centerpiece turned out.

Place Setting Decor
Now, for the wow factor, my favorite part is seeing the whole look come together with our place settings. All the layers and small details work cohesively to make your dining experience memorable. We love the burlap texture of the bow on the lantern and how it ties in with the natural woven chargers and mocha textured table runner. The main focus is the DIY Christmas red poinsettia centerpiece, but your eyes then travel to all the other details of the table. The handmade neutral beaded napkin rings made by Yes Design It adds texture and interest while adding elegance to the table decor.
